How to Host an Epic Nerf War Party
The Ultimate Guide to Throwing a Nerf War Birthday Party, which Kids will never Forget!
Our story: For my wife and me, Birthdays are of great importance. Especially my wife puts extra attention to details on how to make that moment most memorable. From our experience, we realised that the best way to give the experience that the birthday girl or boy wants. We all love playing or grew up playing Nerf, so we thought, why don’t we offer a lifetime Nerf battle experience to kids or the kid in us as a service?” That’s how we started.

Recently, a close-knit family reached us to organise their Nerf battle Birthday party.
This family from Okotoks, Alberta, a small town near the City of Calgary, wanted to host a Nerf war party. As requested, we arrived at their home. The family decided to host it in their front yard. The mother sent her Birthday boy for a baseball match along with his father, so she and we have enough time to give the birthday boy a big surprise on his arrival.
As we can see, the mom’s excitement that she is about to host the best birthday party ever, and the birthday boy will be out only for a little while, so we wasted no time. I placed our 5’6” 6 bunkers tactically all around the field, inflated them with a custom-adjusted pump, and anchored them at the right place. Meanwhile, my wife set up all the safety gear, loaded all the Blasters and Ammos, and placed the ammos and darts on both sides of the field so the players find it easy to load and play. Segregating and bundling the gears for each player according to the team (the Green team & the Red team), which also included High-Visibility Jackets for added safety and fun.
And the Birthday boy arrives
Then we went out for some time so that when the guests arrive, everyone could have a meaningful family time. And within no time, the Birthday boy arrived with all his friends. And when they saw the front yard, they immediately left everything and started playing Nerf.
As planned, we came back, and the Nerf war party began. My wife and I were actively helping maintain the safety policies while cleaning the place and loading blasters and ammunition as the guests were enjoying the fight.
It was intense fun, leading the guests, loading blasters with darts, and clearing choked blasters. Just looking at the young ones playing the hell out is a pure joy. That’s why we named our company Jooy Unlimited.

All you need:
- 6 Various shape Bunkers (5.5 Ft X 3 Ft)
- Anchors
- Inflator pump
- 100’ 15Amp power chord
- Different varieties of Nerf blasters (for added excitement, 15-20 blasters recommended)
- 1500 Nerf Darts (All should be brand new, for the least loading time)
- Safety Masks or glasses
- High-visibility vest (for add safety and fun)
- 6’ Table (arrange and place the gears)
- Tablecloth
- 2 small boxes (to place ammo on the opposite side of the field)
- Containers or boxes to hold them once done
A Nerf party place can be any backyard. Depending on the area, one can increase or decrease the number of Nerf bunkers; the rest of the setup is pretty much the same. You can do it by yourself by following the above example, or you can let us handle the hard part, and you just experience and live the moment while we do the hard work for you.
